Human resources & workforce management

A dedicated HR foundation for the employee lifecycle.

HalNora HR is an early standalone product track for employee management, onboarding, leave approvals and workforce context. It is intentionally separate from Payroll so employee lifecycle records and pay authority do not become one monolithic system.

Designed around
  • Employee records & workforce context
  • Onboarding workflows
  • Leave requests & approvals
  • Role-aware access
  • Future HR→Payroll contract
  • Broader lifecycle capabilities as validated
Current status

Problem, capability, connection and current stage.

HalNora separates demonstrated development progress from future product direction so scope can be understood without treating roadmap items as commitments.

01 · PROBLEM

What problem does it solve?

Growing businesses often separate employee records, onboarding, leave, workforce context and payroll into disconnected tools.

02 · CAPABILITY

What is it being built to do?

A standalone HR foundation for employee management, onboarding, leave requests/approvals and workforce records, with broader HR workflows planned as the product matures.

03 · HALNORA ONE

How does it connect?

HR is intended to provide approved employee/workforce context to Payroll and selected scheduling/resource workflows while Payroll retains pay authority and Workspace retains access/identity context.

04 · STAGE

Where is it today?

HR entered completion mode on October 18 with the approved feature scope frozen. Employee directory, onboarding/offboarding, leave, credentials, document governance, self-service and local Payroll review exist, but genuine restricted PostgreSQL tenant-isolation evidence, ordinary-user end-to-end acceptance, recovery and final release approval remain open; the project is unpublished.

Current development direction

Build the workforce record before connecting payroll.

HalNora HR is being developed as its own domain so employee lifecycle records and approvals do not become hidden inside Payroll or Dispatch.

01

Employee management

Maintain core employee/workforce records with role-aware access and a clear source of truth.

02

Onboarding

Structure employee onboarding tasks, required information and future document/policy workflows.

03

Leave requests & approvals

Support employee requests and manager approval workflows without treating payroll adjustments as the HR record.

04

Workforce context

Provide approved staff context that can later support scheduling, resource planning and permission-aware HalNora One experiences.

05

HR→Payroll contract

Plan an explicit integration where HR can supply approved employee data while Payroll remains authoritative for pay calculations, remittances and payroll processing.

06

Broader lifecycle roadmap

Additional HR/compliance workflows may be added as requirements are validated; their final scope and release timing are not committed on this site.

Product boundary

HR owns the employee lifecycle. Payroll owns pay.

HalNora keeps HR and Payroll separate because workforce records, approvals and employee lifecycle decisions have different authority and compliance requirements than payroll calculation, payment and filing.

HALNORA ONE CONNECTION

Shared context without shared ownership.

Workspace can provide permission-aware access; HR can provide approved employee context; Payroll can consume only the data it needs through a controlled contract.
